Wigan won't go down easy.  .  .after all winning 6 straight games ain't no joke. Already giving Vida and co work to do.

@S

Rooney rarely stays down. . .he should be ok. But these Wigan dudes seem to have taken Chelsea as their mentors. . .they are beginning to get unnecessarily physical. Dumb bullies.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by superstar1(m): 9:26pm On Jan 14, 2009

Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 9:26pm On Jan 14, 2009
I cannot believe Tevez missed that shocked shocked

Well. . .there was too much power behind the ball when he dribbled past their GK. Easy woulda done it.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by superstar1(m): 9:28pm On Jan 14, 2009

The reasons why he gets dropped.
Simple tap in shoulda gotten us the second goal.
Wazza woulda buried that.

Nani is still a dcikhead. . . . .What a chance!!!
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 9:39pm On Jan 14, 2009
Lol.  .  .that beautiful opportunity just went down.  .  .was lovely to watch tho. Ronny just sailed thru the MF with ease.

@ sauron,
cut d guy some slack, he is human and lack of playing time did him in. Am sure he himself is really disapointed.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by superstar1(m): 9:52pm On Jan 14, 2009
Nani is a chicken head that doesnt want to mature at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

At this level, the margin of error is negligible.
One opportunity, one moment. . . . .take ur chance.
Tevez tries too hard to impress when a simple mechanical approach woulda done the job.
Shoot the damn ball and get yourself a goal.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 9:56pm On Jan 14, 2009
Okay, not a bad half, but I hate the way we give up possession quite easily. We are letting those blue-striped dudes bully us. To be fair our players are lighter, but still, when you're faced with a situ like this, the ''weaker'' party has got to get faster.  .  .move so fast they can't find you to bully.
Being light has got its advantages after all. They should exploit them.

Attack has been active but too blunt. Too untidy. Nothing clinical about it at all. Nani needs to improve his act, Tevez needs to calm down and do things properly(he's prob'ly just too eager to prove himself), and Ronaldo should better position himself in Wigan's 18. Berba needs to get a bit more alert.  .  .

Defense has been okay I guess, but I think we may have had a few problems if their strikers weren't so off.

Any news on Rooney? I hope we put in more goals in 2nd half. This is the kind of game I love to see Ando in.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Sauron1: 9:58pm On Jan 14, 2009
Tevez shoulda buried his chance.
A 2-goal lead woulda been perfect for Man Utd going into half-time.
Sometimes the little Argy pisses me off.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by Cristalz(f): 10:02pm On Jan 14, 2009
Lol. . .is Tev ''little''? grin

It's ok Sauron, other chances will come. Tev is just trying too hard is all. When he calms down he'll put one in grin

This is where the Prem organisers should start using the white spray option.
How many times have we seen the wall move before a freekick is taken.
Everything is so backwards in Europe.
Rubbish.
