into a movie, with David in the lead
role. Roth is said to be using
Ferguson’s book

Manchester United Story of 25 Years
At The Top as a basis for the film
according to the Daily Star. There
are others in mix to play the role too,
like Peter Capaldi, Ewan McGregor,
Robert Carlyle and James
McAvoy ,First Minister of Scotland
Alex Salmond and Michael Sheen.
Roth is said to have already reached
out to David Meek, the Fergie book’s
co-author, who revealed that things
are ‘very much in its early stages.’
‘Obviously it could be a fascinating
portrayal of an exceptional man’ he
added.
