My dear, white only symbolises d sanctity of d marriage covenant wc, as d Bible puts it, ...... & d bed undefiled (meaning maintaining virginity til afta d wedn) & wc is a long neglected & 4gotten virtue. So, my dear, it's nt a rule dat d wedn gown b white. If u lyk, kari ankara sew ur wedn gown. It's ur choice & it's no man's Bizz!

The lady is being very honest. White is supposed to be a symbol of chastity/purity/virginity, so traditionally the white gown is supposed to proclaim the lady as untouched and untainted. The fact that she didn't wear a white wedding gown shows she understands the symbol of that colour.

It amuses me when I see some pregnant women getting married in white wedding gowns. What obtains these days is actually a mockery of the symbolic colour of white.
