The reason for the protest is that the camp director said we won't be paid our first allowance in camp, but that we were to start opening accounts yesterday (Friday) to get our allowances by electronic trasnfer later on after leaving camp on Monday.

Please can I leave camp For a day or two? I live in PH and I'm engaged for the 27th & 28th which is a day after camp resumes I intend to get to nonwa very early on 26th so I can be through wt my registration sleep over and leave camp on the 27th for my appointment to return on saturday...how do I go about it

Once u are in, its almost impossible to go out, of course unless you have someone or a strong reason. Its only pregnant women, nursing mothers or married women that such provision is made for

If your swearing in is on the day you will end your work, i advise you wait till you are through before reporting in camp because people were allowed into camp on the day of our swearing in and after. But you have to be extra careful because there is problem on ground which led to a peaceful protest yesterday and its causing tension on camp.

The whole tension has come down, like the guy said, just do what u have to do, and by saturday or sunday u can come in.

No ATMs... but mammy traders charge 10% to help withdraw from town. They can even give part before withdrawing.

Yes it is, aside withdrawal, all your card details can be noted and used for internet payment when you leave camp.
I tend to overthink matters though.
