All i can say is d state is wack as in nothing to write home about, u see rocks everywhere, dia sun na die as in very hot, most gals on hijab in okene and environs, no better place to have fun that is if u are d fun having type. The only place u can enjoy in kogi if u are posted to ur ppa is lokoja. Lokoja too the sun is extra extra hot than anywhere in d state. If u dont have a.c u are going to hell trust me. Another better ppa is dangote cement factory, u will love it There. My Advice is go to camp with medical report for redeployment or if ur married then go along With ur marriage certificate. If u can cope then its ok. As for me i relocated back to my state after camping. Delta state to be precise

Presently serving in Kogi state, Yagba West precisely. Kogi in general is just a place to lay low, but I would assure you that it is far better than so many other states in terms of service. You are gonna enjoy your orientation camp though in Asaaya .

The fact is Kogi ain't no fun state to serve but trust me you'll will enjoy asaya camp. Very close to my house.

D sun is nt wat to talk abt...dat one na story 4 d gods...as at d time of ds writing I jst trek bk frm skul(na serious injury tym we dey hia oo) bt tnkGod 4 dat no1 kunu woman in felele, I bet wen u get to loja u will luk 4 her.... She is d rison y trekin has bcom a tin of no stress. All u v to do is trek bk nd jst walk dere straight nd down lyk 2 rubber nd I bet u will fget u jst treked.... I remember a status den on 2go dat "d joni frm lokoja to hell Is trekable" it was wen I get to lokoja dat I confirmed it...ds writin is nt to scare u bt 2 get ursef prepared 4 ur joni to mini-hell. Dey r few material dat u must I repeat u must cm along wt or else u v d winsh in ur village to blame.
1 A generating set...its almost compulsry as u r nt goin to remember if electricity stl exist in nigeria.
2 A fridge... I rili dnt v much to say abt dat as my descriptn of d sun abv has said it all.
3 AC (optnal) bt a stndin fan is as compulsry as ur nysc I'd card..leave ur testimony till u get hia.
4 Umbrella( mstly 4 d full nd half abinos nd dos our colour changer(una knw una sef) cause u wil deifinatly v walk in d sun some day.
5 Touch light( I usually refer to it as whr dere is no nepa) ds is 4 d sake of days u wil v to trek at nyt or u run out of fuel. Be warned.
6 Nokia touch lyt wit an extra ba3 nd a power bank dats if u want to stl b connected wt ur relative..doubt nd c.
7 All d ntwk sim cards...as am typin my mtn sim card has bin dwn wtout ntwk 4 lyk 2wiks nw. Odas r jst waitn 4 mtn to cm bk b4 dey strt deirs...b warned.
8 budget ur 10bucks 4 pure water nd 100-120 4 a bag...our biznez ppl d vex hia ooo.

calm down am batch B stream 2. presently serving in kogi will be at d camp with u for drilling. if u count on wat people are saying here, u won't like ur service year. Am serving in Ajaokuta Steel Company. and it isn't dt bad. DIA IS LIGHT, water at times too... if u want ur service to be fun it all depends on u and what u define as fun. people hav served here and survived so u too will... How about if u posted to borno, adamawa, yobe or recently Gombe?? wat den will u do?? chill jooor
