Right frm d tym I joined the telecommunication train in Nigeria, the short message service (sms) has been a sacred tool to me. I send sms to people I care about, and in turn, receive frm people who care abt me. Everytime I hear the message tone, my heart leaps for joy and I'm anxious to know who it is and what message is being passed to me.
This trend has however been frustrated by the useless and unnecessary auto-generated sms sent EVERYDAY by service providers in Nigeria. Sometimes, they even make auto-generated calls and may confuse you to unwillingly subscribe to services you don't intend to subscribe for. These have to stop. I believe there are regulatory bodies who can see to dat.
Those are my thoughts anyway, what do u think. I'll even share some of d sms I receive frequently. Some, on a daily basis...
