i find this topic very interesting and would really like to contribute.You see I am a 3d modeller and animator currenlty working with 3d studio Max and Maya.I am trying to create interactive 3d content for multimedia applications( e.g games).Altough i am still considering the best or rather less difficult to learn 3d game programming language ,darkbasic professional isn't too bad in fact you can make some pretty impressive games with it (that is after studying the manual and demos for a while)another option would be 3d game creator which simplifies the enitre game production process although your creativity would determine the uniqueness and profeesional look of your games .One needs a team to really create somthing of commercial and profeesional quality although it is not compulsory but one cannot rule out the rule of division of labour and specialisation.Anyway i think i have said enough for one day.So best of luck to all prospective game programmers /3d modellers. Who knows maybe someday we might just work together to produce a blockbuster 3d game ,you never can tell.
