....okkay., if you don't like that, then you must add value to your degree ...most probably by getting your hands dirty with programming.

;;please Note:::: Without programming, You can actually get most jobs mathematicians get::::

Make Budget to spend over 100k within the next few months...

Sell, your expensive phone and replace with a cheaper one that can surf the internet well and tether Hotspot.

Get a fairly good laptop if you don't have one... (Battery strength should be your priority)

Get a small inverter that can power your PC for hours. ...get a touch light also.

Get some ebooks, find a cheap internet plan
.... Use ya existing knowledge and brain...

..after several months of persistence and enduring frustrations... Viola!!!

You will then have the extra advantage to get a job..

1) All u need is just about 1-4hr of your time everyday to programming, it wont disturb ur studies.
2) Yes u are doing the right thing, (but i would have advice u to start with a lower level language e.g Qbasic, fortran, c, pascal, pyton, e.t.c...
So that u wld have deeper understand on hw things work)

Learning the basics of Python/any Lang. can be done within 1-2weeks.

IMHO, i didn't think you can finish learning a language sha, 'cos the more CHALLENGES u face, the more u LEARN

1) You can move to Java as soon as u are familiar Comfortable with the OOP consepts of Python.

2) You can achieve your aims with PYthon too, with the use of py4a and py2exe.... respectively (Google is your friend grin).

It is one thing to be a computer science graduate, it is another thing to be a programmer. You can be a computer sci graduate / programmer - which is best for you.
