I live in US and there is massive difference between African, Carribean and African-American women where I live. Maybe I see them more cos I'm a black woman. But that report clearly stated that it was 70% of African-American women. I hardly know any women that are Africans and single. I think if she meant Black women, she would have said black women. I think of African-American women as those that have more than a generation of their family in US. I don't know how you see that.

Knowing how to LEAD FROM BEHIND is a skill that is learned and passed on and practiced.  It is much like any other lessons you learn from mathmatices to spelling to reading.
