ok...hope it has nothing to do wt drops of oil from s steering rack? cos it seems d drop started around d same time D 4 light start blinking tu. beside where is d transmission fluid?

something wrong with your gearbox get it scanned

if the speedo is not working mostly likely it is the vehicle speedometer sensor on the gearbox

Zimdrill got it spot on for you OP. Change your vehicle speed sensor with one with the exact part numbers and all should be well.

hello pls help mine is same car wt op but my speedometer is working , gear selection is ok and no slip yet d4 blinks. infact just changed oil to dextron iii, solenoids tested OK

for those advising scanning, this car isn't obd2 compliant. you can do diagnosis using the crude but effective scan method of shorting 2 connections and checking for the number of blinks on the dash..
