Laptops Ram are more lucrative but you can add a few desktop ram
Keep it strictly DDR 3 cuz DDR 4 is almost standardized which in turn will bring about the quick extinction of DDR 2

Figure out the prices
It depends on the type of ram there are 2400mhz of 4gb or 8gb ram 16gb are quite rare which are the fastest but most peeps usually use 1600mhz cuz they can't tell the difference
