I've always been a traveller, but since I've been travelling, I haven't encountered it this bad.
It was a little after midday on Monday (3-11-2014), I just passed Shagam (Ogun state) on my way to Ikorodu (Lagos state), travelling on this semi-tarred "expressway" with very wide diameter potholes when the rain started.

It rained for about about fifteen minutes, until we reached this pool in the middle of the road. Already, several vehicles' engines had hibernated because of the muddy water that took over the road, while others were able to manipulate their way through to the other side of the brown pool.

We decided to also try our luck. Well... we were unlucky, as we were about to cross to the other side of the pool on the supposed inter-state "expressway", the engine just went off.

While I was frustrated and vexed because I was getting late to my destination, I decided to take some shots and post here, hoping that relevant authorities will take actions.
