Dead right. Let us be reasonable, the sales people had old stock bought at the former selling price and they will have to sell off those. Else they will lose capital and gradually commence a descent in business fortunes.

Also going to load Dangote cement from factory boils down to around 150-200 naira pending on distance per bag,plus ATC sellers profit about 30naira plus offloading another 30naira plus suppliers profit ranging around 50 -70 naira. Adding all dis up making it like 1350naira or more sef. So thinking any1 can buy cement for 1,000 naira is just unreasonable.

ok, you sell only in abuja? how long does the cement takes before it expires? i am still thinking of going to buy trailer load myself. bu maybe it will be too much for my project and maybe it will expire before the end of the project but middle-men in nigerian cement industries are high-profit makers.

it depends on the kind of project, do you have a packin space? If your cement come in contact with water it will block. what about your site workers, do you trust them? Because if u drop a truck of cement they will steal it and sell, why not buy in smaller bits, go and deposit the money with an honest cement dealer then be taking them as the project advances. I am very curious to know if any builder or individual has been able to buy cement at the new price or the old prrice. it is actually too good to believe that cement can eventually fall up to 40%.

please reply us if u have been in market recently to buy cement.

what of the block industry? are they still saying their blocks with their old price? what of other things that came from cement like houses? rent? can this price also effect them.

The truth is that about N200 has been slashed off the Ex depot price of cement. And it will take effect after dealers have finished selling their old stock. So they are smarting under the old stock.

Expect only a slight downward price change in december but not a N1,000 per bag of cement. Other cost are involved.

No one will sell old stock for new price and Nigerians being Nigerians, even when sellers get new stock, they will still sell at the price of old stock and claim it's their "old stock". But the new price regime is coming in gradually until after elections of 2015!

I bought Dangote of 42.5R grade for N1,500 on 7/11/2014 somewhere in the east... This seller will likely sell for N1,300 to N1,400 soon!

If any seller cant sell at new price, the seller should please drink or eat his cement.

Please someone confirm for me. For Dangote to deliver to location, what is the minimum purchase quantity?

In my present abode it is N300 (three hundred Naira) equivalent per bag, if you decide to add anything on the price, You will be arrested and send to jail by the Goverment irrespective of whom you are .
