To those who need embedded system parts & accessories are still not sure of where to get them, with my experience with princejude, I think I can safely recommend him to you.

I bought a programmer from him of recent (to test the waters because I'm always sceptical of online orders) & I must say princejude's way of handling business is quite impressive.

Though the programmer arrived a few days later due to logistics issues from the courier (they apologized for this when I went to collect the parcel), princejude did not do as typical Nigerian businessmen do after collecting your money grin. He kept on doing his best from his own location and calling periodically while I called the courier from my end too.

I don dey talk too much.
He didn't ask me to do this neither did I promise him to but I just felt it's good to commend him for his good business ethics.
Keep it up princejude.

The programmer... unfortunately i forgot to take pics before modifying it... Work begins immediately.

Thanks....

How far with the programmer? Have you test it? Pls if it is working can you tell us how you did the testing and the software or drivers used so that others will learn from you.

Yes, I have tested it & it's working fine.
I use progISP software to burn my codes(in hex format) into chip.
As per the driver, i had to download it online. For Windows 7 OS downwards, i think the device is just plug n play... no need to download drivers. But for Windows 8 OS, you have to download the drivers manually & disable driver signature enforcement option of the OS.

I am ready to help, so what do u need exactly. Circuit diagram, programming? Do you know how to construct? How available is electronics component over there? Is the moving message editable or not? If editable what medium. IR remote, RF remote, keypad, computer keyboard, bluetooth, wifi, gsm text message?

You can contact me via whatsapp 07065304131 I specialise in moving message display of all kinds and sizes. And build customized advert display.

Don't know if anyone would be interested in this.

Input voltage: 0.9-5V DC
Output voltage: 5V DC
Any DC voltage input 0.9V ~ 5V,
output 5V DC voltage can be stable,
with two AA batteries input to the output current of 500 ~ 600MA,
single AA battery power supply output current about 200MA
Onboard USB female, can supply power directly to the USB interface
On-board input voltage indicator
High conversion efficiency, maximum to 96%
Small dimension
PCB size: 34 (mm) x16.2 (mm)

Applications:

DIY a mobile power supply, only need one battery, you can output 5V voltage for your phone, MP3, MP4, PSP charger.

With two AA batteries it charges my phone about 1% every 5mins. However, it can be utilized for various projects.
It costs N800 per unit.
Please note that the 2 AA battery holder is a separate unit. That cost N500 per unit.

Also have in very limited quantity

DC DC Converter 5V to 12V USB to xh2.54 Step Up Booster.

Input voltage 2.8~6V, output 12V (deviation +-5%)
Maximum input current : 1.2A
Long-term work Current : 1A
Conversion efficiency : 78-90%

Start Voltage 2.8V, Output Current 50MA

INPUT 3V 1A; OUTPUT 12V 210MA
INPUT 3.3V 1A; OUTPUT 12V 250MA
INPUT 3.7V 1A; OUTPUT 12V 280MA
INPUT 4.5V 1A; OUTPUT 12V 340MA
INPUT 5V 1A; OUTPUT 12V 370MA
INPUT 6V 1A; OUTPUT 12V 450MA

DC-DC Boost module working frequency 1.0MHZ.
Operating ambient temperature : -40~+85 Degrees Celsius .
Size 42mm x 15mm x 5.6mm(small)
Weight : about 5.6g(light)

Applications:
12V Low Power Motor
12V Low Power Fan
LED Lighting
12V Relay board
Wireless communication equipment
315M 433M Wireless remote controller

Mainly voltage supply. If your project requires 5v or 12v suppy, you can utilize 2 AA batteries to suppy the voltages rather than using a 7805.
Bear in mind that the current reduces as the voltage increases.

I dont know if electronics gurus out there has seen or used this useful tool. Its a gas powered soldering iron and gas torch. I ordered it from aliexpress about $9.00 and it has been very useful to me. I dont need to burn my fuel all because i want to solder, i can do any maintenance job on site that involves soldering without looking to for power or find an extension box.
The wattage of the soldering iron can be varied with the gas burning volume knob.
You can solder electrostatic sensitive board without having to check that your soldering iron doesn't have leakage current and You can solder conviniently. I dont know if its been sold at oshodi or alaba but i just thought of sharing this with the house, because untill early this year i never thought something like this exist.

This is nice. How do u refill the gas? does it come with its own cylinder?

Savotech what area of EE is your core? I may need your services.

You will buy a small buthane gas refill like 1k or less.

I major in Electrical/electronics/computer/embedded programming/Mechatronics

Sorry for that, to manufacture it locally, you need to get a raw pcb, a mirrored or glossy paper to print the pcb design using laserjet, a design software like pcb wizard, a laminator or iron, an etchant, but to see a good demonstration type pcb making on youtube.

Thank yo so much.
As a matter of fact as at when I was typing I have already studied the pcb wizard 3.5 software and I have to say it's so easy to use and I have already designed small circuit with their PCB layout.
Did not think it would be this easy. Loving the software.
I have Proteus 8.1 full cracked version but Ares is somewhat complicated.
PCB wizard rocks..
One more thing.
which do you guys prefer auto routing or manual routing?

You got the picture... Proteus ares is for professional design. I have been using pcb wizard 4.0 for years now and it has been serving me. Though it has limited component but so far i know the distance between the legs of the components, i can easily create a manual footprint for any component.

Auto routing will limit u in a lot of ways. U will still need a lot of work in placing the components where u want them to be and it might also give u a lot of jumpers than expected. It might use a thin line where u want a thick line. But all the same for specific purposes autorouting is good. Eg i used it when i want to do pcb for a 4x4 matrix keypad. I drew the keypad using the circuit designer or livewire and i imported it to pcb wizard and so on.

I think that when it comes to extremely complex circuits manual routing is the way to go.
