Northern Governors To Collaborate With FG To Defeat Boko Haram [waking Up] by Nobody: 9:24am On Nov 11, 2014
Governors of the 19 Northern States in the country on Monday agreed to cooperate with the Federal Government in the fight to eliminate the Boko Haram terrorist group instead of shifting blams, which they said have become a threat to national security.

Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State and Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, who made the declaration during the commissioning of the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation Office Building in Kaduna on Monday, said with increased attacks by the terrorist group in the north east, the governors of the region will encourage President Goodluck Jonathan to declare total war on the insurgents. He explained that members of Boko Haram are no longer terrorists but rebels and enemies of the nation who must be crushed at all costs before they destabilise the peaceful co-existence of the country

Why now? Make dem dey fight Jonathan now like say they are not closer to the masses. Seeing Fayose resolving a riot that could lead to something else yesterday in Ifaki speaks better on this. Where were they when this insurgency started small? Anyway, I am not surprised, they are all used to being absolutely dependent on Federal government for everything.

Babangida aliyu is known for talking without taking action, moreover if two out of nineteen governor were able to attend such meeting, show how northern governor take babangida aliyu issues serious

This is the more reason why people always see us, (the North) as jokers. So our governors now know that they've been "Shifting blames" instead of confronting the insurgency in the measure of their strength while putting heads with the FG??

Waoh, such a huge Joke! The governors failed to realize that the security of their respective states are primarily their responsibilities but chose instead to "PDPrize and APCrise" everything. Now the cock has come home to roost. They obviously just realised they are the greater losers here and are ready to step up their ions. Kudos to them and hope it isn't too late for all of us.

After they have successfully killed many of themselves, in view to tarnishing the image of the presidency. Now they have come to spit rubbish as usual....

They should better call their boys to order.
Btw why are they coming up with the idea now?
Why not AS EARLY AS January, or even last year?

You don't need to align with the F.G to put an end to something you can actually stop by snapping your fingers...

Put a call to your boys and stop this genocide

That's all.

They'd better helped themselves by doing so. Finally wisdom is gradually penetrating the north. Menwhile their aim will be defeated if they fail to arrest or reason with buhari. Strike the shepherd and the sheeps will scatter.

He explained that members of Boko Haram are no longer terrorists but rebels and enemies of the nation who must be crushed at all costs before they destabilise the peaceful co-existence of the country
Why does this matter?

He's less bothered about the innocent lives that get lost virtually everyday.

This PDP/APC shiit is getting taken too far to be honest. Do you realize there are so PDP governors in the north? What have they done?

Must you all attempt to shift blame on the opposition at all cost?
