i sent a message to one of the keen followers of nigeria league and also a close ally of keshi, that he should paraded our home base team in the midfield and defence in the last 2 qualifier matches.. i guess our victory against congo made them to overlook the underlying fact..
i narrated 2006 wc qualifier event, how we lost to angola at home, while enyimba proceeded to beat palanca negras of angola at the same stadium with 8 of their national team players in attendance..

solomon kwambe always remind me of barcelona's Dani Alves.. he is far better than ambrose efe at right back anytime anyday..

can you motivate an established players like mikel, onazi, emenike, uche et al with 10,000 dollars?.. try it with an home base player, they will surely shed blood...

yes solomon kwambe is good and other strong defenders that played ghana. see how they held thier back line

yet keshi did not cosider any of them.no wonder he was not in uyo for that match.

even in the attack why must we 180 milion nigerias suffer because Emenike have not scored in over one year plus. while we have emem uduak that scored 6 goals in one match no sentiment if messi did that they would say he has become greater than Pele emidiatly.yet Keshi will over look such a goal-hungry player not to talk of record breaker Ufon udoh 23 goals. combine all the eagles player thay have not scored that

i think having won in congo they relaxed and didnt know its not over till its over

abeg lets switch to federations cup

Federation Cup update:

Enyimba gaffer, Kadiri Ikhana, has forgotten the hardship and pain of his side not lifting the 2014 Glo Premier League title, and he is now looking forward to winning the Federation Cup.

Enyimba lost the championship to Kano Pillars even though the Sai Masugida were beaten 3-1 on the last day in Aba last Sunday.
The experienced trainer told supersport.com that Enyimba would have had the better chance of winning the diadem had it been his wards won their week 37 duel at Dolphins.

He then congratulated Kano Pillars for winning the Glo Premier League on three straight occasions.
“Everybody knew we had the chance of winning the trophy, but the draw we got at Dolphins could not help the situation, but I'm still happy with the Champions League ticket we got at the end of the season.
“Congratulations to Kano Pillars, and I wish the two of us (Enyimba and Kano Pillars) good luck next year in the CAF Champions League,”

Federation Cup update:

Federation Cup finalists, Dolphins, arrived Ijebu-Ode yesterday in preparation for Sunday’s final against Enyimba.

The former Nigeria champions said the idea behind the Ijebu-Ode training camp is for concentration just before the big game against Enyimba on Sunday, something they may not get in Port Harcourt with friends and fans of the club around them.

The team will depart Ijebu-Ode for Lagos tomorrow.

“We had a light work out yesterday morning,” Coach Stanley Eguma said.

“Although the time is short, we believe the two days away from Port Harcourt before that crucial game will do the boys a world of good.”

The NFF told Coach Keshi to reduce the number of home base players in the team and squad. That is why he can not field them as my as he wants.

Emem Uduak vs Mfon Udoh
Re: Eyimba Vs Dolphins FC Federation Cup Final ( 2 - 1) On 23rd November 2014 by robosky02(m): 1:14pm On Nov 21, 2014
Enyimba striker Mfon Udoh, who set a new scoring record of 23 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League, .

Udoh surpassed the previous 20 goals record set by Jude Aneke at Kaduna United when he scored the People’s Elephants equalizer at Dolphins in a Week 37 tie. But he could not find the second to keep his club’s title ambitions alive.

The 22-year-old, who has scored a total of 23 goals in all competitions, feature in the home-based Super Eagles’ international friendly against Ghana’s U23 national team during the grand opening of the ultra-modern Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo.

Emem Eduok:

Striker Emem Eduok, has told Goal that his potential is yet to be seen as he aspires to become one of Nigeria’s best ever forwards.

Akwa Ibom-born Eduok scored the match winner against Ghana’s U23 national team with a glancing header in the inaugural game of the new 30,000 capacity Akwa Ibom Stadium in Uyo last Friday.

Clash of two Marksmen: Emem Eduok vs Mfon Udoh

The setting will be at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.. and it is the final of the el-clasico involving two men who have painted the Glo Premier League with goals this season. Emem Eduok of Dolphins and Enyimba's Mfon Udoh have over 40 league goals inbeetwen them .

The first of the two plots between Eduok and Udoh took place on Sunday, 2nd November, 2014 were Enyimba's Mfon Udoh was able to score his clubs only goal but could not help them get the needed result thus allowing Kano Pillars to win the league before they clash again in the Federation Cup final on the this Sunday 23rd November.

Both the Eduok and Udoh had different targets at the start of the season.

"My target is to score 20 goals and to help my team become champions of the Glo Premier League," said Udoh, who scored 15 goals last season.

Eduok, who netted less than 10 goals last season, had said: "I am hoping to score 15 goals this season."

at the end Udoh has surpassing his personal target having hit his 23rd goal in the final day clash against Kano Pillars thus setting a new leagues record of 23 goal.

Eduok, who had not been in the reckoning for the top shot award, broke and set a new individual record when he hit six goals past Nembe City in Dolphins' 6-0 win in Port Harcourt. In the process, he consigned the previous long standing record (4 goals) by an individual in a single match which stood in the name of Victor Ezeji and was equalled earlier in the season by Sharks Christian Pyagbara.he also got himself into the history books at he scored the first ever goal score in the new Akwa Ibom stadium for the home based super eagles in the match against the u23 team of ghana.

Nevertheless the two players, who have in the past played for their hometown club, Akwa United, at different times will come toe to toe on Sunday in an epic clash at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.. that could decide who is "the real top marksman" in the domestic league.
