This is Matt Haag also known as Nadeshot, a 22-year-old competitive gamer from Chicago who earns around $1 million a year playing Call of Duty. He’s currently got around 1.4 million subscribers on Youtube and his fanbase is growing pretty f*cking quickly. And all this, along with his insanely popular live-streaming of games, has earned him some very tasty sponsorship deals. He’s currently on track to make around $700K from both live-streaming and revenue from his YouTube channel this year. And that’s before his other sponsorship deals (which also includes Red Bull) AND consistent contest winnings. Not bad ay? Red Bull even rented a house out for himself and his Team Optic teammates in Venice Beach, where they ‘trained’ for ‘gaming endurance’. This included yoga sessions and how to eat healthy to maintain fatigue during long sessions. This is some serious shit. And it’s all a little sweeter for Matt, who was flipping burgers in McDonald’s a few years back on minimum wage. Fair play to the lad!
