TECHNO Mobile will be launching in a new smartphone next year 2015 and will cost less than $30 (N5,000) . This was said by the Vice President of the South African Mobile Company, Arif Choudhary. He said that the plan was part of the company’s strategy to provide low-cost data phone in order to encourage the uptake of smartphone.

P.S. I'm not hating... I used the Phantom A+ before moving on, and Walahi, that phone didn't give me issues one bit(only the rear camera glass got broken, but it didn't affect taking pictures with it). Missed the phone when I gave it out, so I'm not hating, because Tecno has not failed me yet.

A $30 phone isn't supposed to 'Meet the mark' bro. Its a low budget phone for low income earners who don't do much with their phone. ( What's the point buying a $400 phone for just chatting ? )
