Hello fams, am Yusuf a budding poet... I would like to share with my fellow poets some of my poems enjoy also I need lotta constructive criticism from you guys.


ECHOES OF REGRETS.
Long Lost Was I in the middle of nowhere
till I was found by some white farmers who tended
my leaves and gave me a new reason to live.
I was like the tree planted by the rivers of water
I brought out fruit as at when due


The farmers promised to make me the best in my region
what I later found out they told my other brothers
whom they have earlier revived before me.
I was taken care of with the best of fertilizer.


I soon grew to be the giant of my region because the fertilizer was applied by broadcasting method.
soon I found out my fruits were decreasing my resources depleting.
Where are they who promised to make me the best in my region?


Days rolled into months, months into years still no sign of them.
Now I am left to languish in my poor but rich soil
my fruits turn sour by each passing day.

Where are they who promised to make me the best?
but decided to flee with my abundant resources to develop theirs.

Fate caught up with zeal
and twain mated conception.
When nature pruned spree,
both were basked in contention;
one for other to gore glee.
