Silence can be good, and sometimes bad.

"Never miss a good time to keep quite " so says the Wise man.
But I am sure he did not mean that we should keep quite in the face of injustice, ineptitude and terribly irresponsible leaders.
He did not mean that we should keep quite in the face of terror, ethnic bigotry and religion fundermentalists who everyday shed the blood of our country men.

Of course silence is golden and in fact, a virtue save that it is channelled toward acquiring wisdom.
But in the face of a sinking nation and defiling respect of its people as a tribute of irresponsible leadership, silence will amount to nothing but stupidity and lack of honour.
"In the face of injustice, a foolish man choose friend, a wise man choose word", so says Socrates.

As Leonardo da Vincci too rightly noted, "Nothing strengthens a bad government as much as silence."
The ultimate source of Nigeria's problem is the unethusiasm, indifference, as well as silence of those who should act, stand up, and talk.
The hope of Nigeria therefore lays in nothing but undefeatable effort of Nigerians to often stand up and SCREAM .
