Family Planning(contraception) Is It Religiously Good? by Howcomes(m): 3:16pm On Nov 23, 2014 |
I av been thinking about this for a while now, I don't know where to place it. I got a girl pregnant sometime ago and did not ask her to abort cos I felt its a sin. My mum was happy and said abortion is evil and a sin as bad as murder. Today people control their number of children by stopping others from coming to life by contraception and use of protection such as condom and withdrawal method, please I need advice on this. I want to know if its a sin to avoid pregnancy by Contraception. Thanks |

If a couple (husband & wife) to do the family planning, I dont think it's bad.. infact it's so good they deserve some reward of some sort.. No need giving the 'A is for abstinence' speech, afterall we're all human. I don't think "avoiding pregnancy through contraception" is bad though. but then, who am I? |

If you belong to a particular denomination, then I guess contraception is a sin. Family planning and contraception is not a sin.If there is a pregnancy, then the right thing is to keep the baby. Take care of the woman you got pregnant and be there always for that child. |
