According to the Eagles Online

The Department of State Services on Sunday said it has arrested some suspects in Lagos State for cloning the Permanent Voter Cards currently being issued around the country by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

A statement issued by the spokeswoman of the service, Marilyn Ogar, in Abuja said that it raided a building located at 10, Bola Ajbola Street, Allen Avenue following a petition it received alleging “unwholesome activities” there.

It was the same building the All Progressives Congress alleged on Saturday was raided by the police and Nigerian Army.
The party said it was an attempt to curtail its activities by the Federal Government and the Peoples democratic Party.

But Ogar, in the statement on Sunday, said:“The petition alleged that those behind the activities were cloning INEC Permanent Voters Card with the intention of hacking into INEC data base, corrupting it and replacing them with their own data.
“Based on this information, the service placed the building under surveillance and having been convinced that some unwholesome activities were going on in the building, it undertook a raid of the premises.

“In the process, some persons were arrested, while a Server, three hard drive and 31 Ghana must go bags of hard copy document were recovered and taken away for further investigation.”

According to Ogar, the said location had no sign post indicating whether it was a private or government office.
This was contrary to the position of the APC that it was a verifiable office.
The known state office of the APC in Lagos State is on Acme Road.

The police has recently claimed they found about 1,700 voter's cards on a swampy forest in Lagos. Read here https://www.nairaland.com/2013725/1700-voter-cards-found-forest

DSS has no proof whatsoever on this matter. This is how low the security agents in the country can go to exhibit their over zealousness for their paymaster. The other time the Polica bar some HOR members from entering the NA saying "they acted on a tip-off that ther would be chaos" they ended up being the one causing trouble. The more the PDP-led government harrass the stronger they are. More Nigerians are beginning to see reasons to vote out PDP at the centre.

And some people expect us to believe Marylyn Ogar, a terribly partisan mouth-piece for DSS? If she had not been partisan in the time past, then her story would have worth being considered as a serious matter!

blood will surely flow.

The pace at which this is going has severed all decorum and hinged nigeria on the mouth of a gun-powder.

You don't win by cloning cards.
It aint victory but cheating.

There is nothing wrong with security agencies investigating criminal activities, but the DSS is fast assuming Police role,be that as it may, where are the evidence of the cards?

They should focus more on National security and leave politics to politicians please or else the politicians will overwhelm them with their accusations and counter accusations, right now they should have discovered the source of Boko haram funds, sponsors, with all the haramites in the detention.

I bet if the SSS had found cloned cards there they would have rushed to the press to display their catch. Nowhere in that write up did the SSS state that they actually found cloned cards.
