Kebbi State deputy governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Aliyu and speaker Aminu Habib Jega, with 16 other members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will today dump the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A source close to the defectors disclosed this to LEADERSHIP last night, saying that the event will take place in the state capital, Birnin Kebbi.

President Jonathan was in Kebbi yesterday to commission an international airport in the state.
