Not less than 35 people including five army personnel and a local hunter were killed by a bomb explosion on Thursday morning around Mararaba-Mubi area of Adamawa State. According to Vanguard, a Yola resident told journalists that a joint team of the military and local hunters on every-day patrol of the region following their effective recapture of the Mubi town when the bomb fixed by the insurgents detonated killing 35 people promptly. The eyewitness said the place of the blast was a crowded area where people returning to the area after the recapture of Mubi gather to do one business or the other. |
