Computer-Based Pre-Admission Screening
Exercise scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 4th to
Thursday, 6th August, 2015 at the University
campus
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who made the Federal University of
Technology, Akure as their Institution of choice
and scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2015
Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination
(UTME), which was conducted by the Joint
Admissions Matriculations Board (JAMB). Direct
Entry Candidates are also eligible to sit for the
Pre-Admission Test.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are required to:
i) check the University’s website
( www.futa.edu.ng ) for mode of payment for
application;
ii) complete and submit the University Post-UTME
Application Form online; and
iii) print out a copy.

Each Candidate is to make a total payment of N4,
000.00 (exclusive of bank commission/charges),
which includes:
i) N2, 000.00 for the screening and;
ii) an additional fee of N 2, 000.00 for download of
FUTA Post-UTME past questions.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
The Registration Form will be available online
from Tuesday, 21st July, 2015 and close at 12.00
midnight on Sunday, 2nd August, 2015.
Please note that the Candidate’s UTME/DE
Registration Number and the full names (as it is
on JAMB slip) be correctly provided at the point
of payment.
After payment, each Candidate should visit the
University’s website ( www.futa.edu.ng ) and
complete an online Registration Form. The
complete Form, which will indicate the exact date
and time for the screening exercise, should be
printed for the candidate’s use.
Also note that:
i) All candidates are requested to bring along the
following items to the screening venue:
a) Depositor’s copy of Bank Teller indicating
payment of FOUR THOUSAND NAIRA (N4, 000.00)
only;
b) JAMB UTME Notification of Results/
Registration Slips for Direct-Entry Candidates;
c) Printed copy of the completed FUTA Post-
UTME Online Registration Form;
d) Print-out of e-Transact payment receipt
(collected from Bank) and;
e) One Passport Photograph.
ii) The venue of the screening exercise is the
FUTA Digital Research Centre , “Obanla Campus”,
Federal University of Technology, Akure.
iii) Candidates are NOT allowed to bring cell
phones or any other electronic gadget into the
examination hall.
iv) Candidates are requested, in their own
interest, to have a feel (practice) of the
computer-based test by visiting Practice Test
Page .
v) For more information or clarification or other
issues, candidates can visit the University

NOTE: Any UTME/Direct Entry Candidate who
fails to present himself/herself for the Computer-
based Screening Exercise will NOT be considered
for admission.

HOW TO PURCHASE FUTA POST UTME FORM

1. Walk into any bank in any part of Nigeria(You do not need to come down to FUTA). The form can be bought anywhere in the country

2. Ask for Etransact platform in the bank and say you want to pay for FUTA Post UTME.

3. Pick a bank teller and indicate the following on the bank teller
a. UTME registration number
b. Your FULL NAME
C. Course of choice
d. School(the same as faculty)

After filling the four information, instead of writing down any account number on the teller, write
a. FUTA POST UTME as account number/account name. (if you are a non-Direct entry student)
B. If you are a Direct entry student, write FUTA POST UTME FOR DE as the account name and account number.
Then make a payment of N4000. Usually the bank will collect an additional interest of either N300 or N500.
Wait for the bank cashier to print out an etransact form for you. (Do not leave the bank without collecting the etransact print out because this is what you will use to fill the form online).
Also, make a photocopy of your teller used for payment as it will be asked from you on the day of the exam.
After you have collected the print out slip from the bank, go to futa.edu.ng and look for a link referring you to 2015/2016 Post UTME registration. You will be asked for your Confirmation number and receipt number. The numbers are already on the slip given to you from the bank.
Once you enter it, all your UTME subject combination will be brought out, fill all the details and submit. Then print out the final registration slip as it will be asked from you as well on the day of the exam.
