The Day of the dead is a public holiday observed throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. In 2008 the tradition was inscribed in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Family and friends buy flowers and some other things and take it to where their love ones was burried.
It is celebrated by many country all over the world fr 31st october to 2nd november of each year.
It is a good day to remember your love ones that are deceased.
