Hmmm... Your shades are nice, but you can still improve alot on accuracy of features. I've got to try this charcoal... Em... Wait o, is it charcoal pencil or lumps of real charcoal?

ofcos der is always room for improvements. I use charcoal pencil

smh... You'd rather praise someone without pointing out where you think he can improve. Anyway you don't need to be better than him to see that his works can get better. Artists need critique more than mere praises.

There's the regular charcoal from burning wood, and there's charcoal pencil which is a compressed form of the regular charcoal. They wouldn't come out exactly the same way on paper. The question (not questions) is to find out which he used.

ur ryt... I cud do with sum praises... Bt I need. constructive criticisms more dan any tingrin

nice... You know, you have mastered your shading pretty well. It excellent. I used to have a charcoal pencil (soft), along with my set of H and B pencils, but I never tried using it for more than really dark hair.

The portrait of the white dude is flawless. Tell me you used charcoal pencil for the really light shades cheesy tongue
