Some people here are scaring the hell out of we single guys, what happened to financial lessons.

Why should I date or marry Joke that always insist on going to KFC every week at my expenses, when Damilola will manage #1500 to give you a nice pot of soup that will last 2 days is around.

Why should I buy things I don't need presently.

Why should I go to the club every Friday night.

I don't need to look like Mr Kayode that is earning #350k per month.

I don't need to send the children to a school where the fee is #150k per term.

I don't need to use iphone 6, BB porche and a Tablet when I still have a laptop with modem.

Chicken is not compulsory every weekend when fish is cheaper.

I don't need red wine for now, fruits are cheap in the market.

The point is, women are better manager of finance in the home, get a good financial manager as wife and you won't regret it.

Save a lot and spend on necessities.

Be quick in creating another source of income apart from the salary.

You can have a happy home in Nigeria with 80k, it all depends on you.

If you see a job of #80,000 thank God. Because many people is collecting 18,000 per month even some has finish for the past 5years and never get any job, even their looking for 20,000 job but they can't get. You better grab the one you see. But if you need more than that, I can fetch you how to get more than #200,000 per month. Just inbox me on femstic60@gmail.com

Nigerian youths.....hmmm! We always want to start big out rightly.
Husband-80k + wife- 60k = 140k
12 months=1.68 million
House rent for a year = 200k
A child's school fee per year = 150k
Feeding per month-40k=480k per year (I dnt think dat family size can finish all dat money on feeding)
Clothing n oda expenses-25k per month= 300k per year
Summary:
Expenses=1.03 million
Savings=income - expenses
=1.68 million-1.03 million
=650k for savings per year(don't forget, dats wit a kid in d family which shouldn't apply 2 couples jst starting life)
More money will come as d years pass by plus a well thinking man shd av a business aside his job.
Conclusion:you can excel in life n gradually attain ur dreams wit a start of 80k as salary. Wat do u think of my rough analysis??

80k is not enough, but considering d rate of unemployment and poor economy of dis country, it's manageable to start with, and as time goes on...

All those saying don't have a child yet have forgotten where we are. Where after 2 months everybody will be looking at the wife's stomach, family n friends alike especially the man's family.

Any new couple must drop atleast one child to have their peace in this country sha. But its doable sha.

pls I stand 2 b corrected bt 2 me 80k is nt too low 2 give birth 2 atleast 1 child while trying 2 build a better future because 2 me d demand from d child would nt stand coming immediately after child birth so please if u have a steady income of 80k pls settled down early cos it pays later in life

Ah. I see how you all find it very convenient to not even consider that option of the wife possibly earning more than the guy. Even if it's just by a little. This patriarchal society we grew up in is what's going to kill us all.
