There are very few Nigerians who are not familiar with the English football leagues and many know who Adebayo Akinfenwa is.
Born Saheed Adebayo Akinfenwa (in 10 May 1982), known as Adebayo Akinfenwa,he has spent his entire career in the lower leagues of English football but has still achieved global fame, thanks to a computer game.
According to the makers of the top-selling football franchise, Fifa, Akinfenwa is the strongest player in the world, a title he is proud to accept. The 32-year-old forward has never been
considered a natural footballer , numerous rugby clubs and American universities looking for gridiron converts have asked him to switch sports because of his size and power.
But Akinfenwa has only ever been interested in football and admits there have been times when he has been irritated by the focus on his physique. Standing at just 5ft 11in, Akinfenwa
weighs more than 16 stone.
Many has been wondering why Akinfenwa never played for his Father Home country Nigeria while at the same time has never gotten a call up from England too,the land of his birth.
I recently contacted Akinfenwa on his Twitter account ,his answer was very simple.

Akinfenwa Like Shola Ameobi both share the same Football History but Shola got the opportunity,while at the age of 32 Akinfenwa has been overlooked by Nigeria coaches.
With his scoring record though for league two teams,What do one think can be the cause why Akinfewa was not called up into Nigeria football team?
