The overnight rate is the interest rate banks charge each other on loans for meeting reserve requirements. The overnight rate is frequently confused with the discount rate, which is the interest rate the Federal Reserve charges on loans from the Federal Reserve Bank, but they are different rates. So that you can be on par with western consumers and buy crap from overseas with your undeserved new wealth.

What have you done to increase our export base and thus reduce our trade deficit to enhance our currency?

Japan has been serially accused in the past by the US of deliberately undervaluing the Yen so as to make Japanese exports into the US more competitive and cheaper than US manufactured goods.

The same accusation is what China is being accused of by the west.

But you lazy consumers without produce want the Naira to be artificially inflated in value so that you can use your undeserved wages and new found purchasing power to buy every manner of goods from abroad.

The average Nigerian is like a yeast culture. They will continue to consume and reproduce without recourse to the future of the resource sustainability. When all the resource is exhausted the yeast culture then starves to death.

This is how you foolishly see the oil wealth as one to be consumed without recourse to the future. This same oil wealth being the only forex earner and stabilizer of our currency. What will happen to you ab0kis and your foolish slaves in the South West if the ND pulls out?

Nansense.

are you residing in lagos? Then CURSE be on you for abusing the southwest. According to you, it is "South West". Yet, you dare not leave and go back to your biafra taken over by gully erosion. It is "South West", yet, your bastardd Igbo lots were making noise like bereaved people when fasola casted your jobless brothers out of lagos, just like the parasites that you are. Who is most guilty of importation in Nigeria? Is it not your brothers from landlocked gully erosion? Eediot. Next time, don't ever go tribal. Or else, i will tell you your history. And that is one history you dont wanna know.
