Diego Costa: The Goal Drought Begins. by FootyJuice: 9:53am On Dec 11, 2014
I have been waiting to hear people’s opinion considering the fact that Diego Costa has been gradually feeling the pinch of playing in the EPL, having played four matches without scoring a goal, still maintaining second top scorer with 11 goals since, and after making his return from a hamstring injury. The Spaniard is feeling a bit frustrated while EPL defenders seem to have found a technical know-how and the ability to tame the striker.

He just came back from injury. It will take some time for him to peak back to his goal scoring form

The world is somehow like that. While some are scoring for fun, it's hard for some to find the back of the net.

It is bound to happen
It's like a cycle for most premiership players

But he will still pick his form
Not every striker is like Luis Suarez when he came to Liverpool and he just exploded and never looked back

If you check the annals of the EPL, you will hardly ever see a striker that ends a season with 28 goals... Costa can hit 20 this season...
The likes of Henry, Ruud vanisterooy, Shearer did exploit in the EPL.. None of them reached 28 goal in the EPL
That's why it is the hardest league in the world..
Costa is just recovering from an injury he needs time to be fully fit and rediscover his goal scoring form..
It took the legend, Drogba time to click in Chelsea..
Costa has done well.. Kudos to him..

Hardest league my foot. Going by ur analysis, then Nigerian league is the hardest league in the world because NO ONE has scored up to 25 goals in history

If a player in naija league has 20 goals, 15 to 17 goal is from the penalty spot..
That's why most of our top goal scorer flop....

It's just like when Chelsea where on winning streak. You know that a day will come when that record will be broken.Same applies to Diego and he scored today.
