A geek may be busting his brain trying solve a bug hidden under 10,000 lines of code. Op I hope you know what you really want. I love geeks and the fact that they reason logically and try to solve tasks entrusted them with precision and efficiency but you might miss out on the emotional bond you desire,not that they don't love you but they pour their emotions into their task at hand and you might feel Ignored but if you are secured as mizmycoli has said then you are good to go.
