I have a friend who's got a rather funny problem - hearing loss. He is not totally deaf but have difficulty understanding conversation at times especially on phones.
He's been expelled from school, nether could he get a Job due to the problem.
I have advise him to see an ENT specialist unfortunately my friend can't even raise half of the money for hearing aids.
Please matured advise will be highly appreciated.

He should get a doctors report that he will present anywhere he's going.

He should also learn sign language too while still searching for treatment.

U as a friend can also help him by exercising his ears through sound and word plays. Dat can help too.

Thanks Yuncka, surprisingly his condition is not that worse. He could easily blend in a group and will be hearing alright until he becomes the center of attention, that's when the problem becomes noticeable.

Wow! I tink he should meet a health councilor or a psychologist. He needs to get his confidence high cos I tink it has somtin to do wit his confidence. And also, he should commit it to the almighty in prayers.

Hi there, sorry about your friend's predicament. Sadly, he needs to see the ENT, you stated that he can't afford it, what about the general hospital in your area?

Please, how is your friend now? Has he been able to find any solution? How bad is the hearing loss?

unfortunately he's still much the same.
But like I said in the post, if the speaker is calling/speaking from hearing distance or there happen to be a background noise around, he won't hear you.
