The paramount ruler of Otuoke Kingdom, King Lot Ogiasa, has said that the entire Otuoke community and those in diaspora have been notified about plans to welcome one of their most illustrious sons, President Goodluck Jonathan back to Otuoke.

This is just as King Ogiasa expressed his community’s readiness to support Jonathan to settle in Otuoke as all indications show that there is a powerful opposition to the re-election of Jonathan as President of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria and he is very likely to lose the election.

According to the monarch, the Presidency of Jonathan was by sheer providence. He lamented the lack of impact the Jonathan administration has had in his home town by way of infrastructure and employment for the youth but was happy that Jonathan's presence in the community as an ordinary person will help him understand the challenges the community is facing and encourage him to use his Abuja contacts to bring development to Otuoke.

He berated Jonathan's cronies for bringing his administration for disrepute by not playing the role of good advisers and promised that the entire Otuoke community will never ostracise their son.

The monarch said: “All I know is that Asari, Okupe and co are just there to spoil Jonathan’s administration and undermine his reputation. I am saying it is uncalled for. It is not even good because we are one country and one Nigeria. Let the best hands govern the country."
