true if you started primary school at 6. some started @ 5 and like i told you, are brilliant and intelligent enough to skip 2 classes. I had a classmate who did that and the Abiodun Abari guy i asked you to google.

I kno.I started at 5. So plus 11 that made me 16 at WAEC age.gt into uni at 18 cos I wrote JAMB at 16 bt result came qen I was 17 admited wen I was 18 spent 5 yrs at uni plus 1 yr NYSC so was meant to be24 wen I finished but ofcos strike made me 25 at graduation n that was me being lucky

I have been looking at him since i first saw him and read of his age. He looks 65-70 years to me.

Yes, secondary education was 5 years then, not 6 years as it is now.

secondary education was initially 6 years (3 years of junior sec, then 3 years of senior sec) , then changed to 5 years, then switched back to six years.

the five year run wasn't for a long time, probably about one or two decades or so, maybe less although I stand corrected if wrong.

This is very possible OP and I have a living example. My dad was born 1960 and he graduated from UI by 1980 whc makes him 20 by then and by 21 he was tru with his NYSC......thr is nothing biggie in that.

to be a genius is different from being intelleligent, a genius dont need to go to school to be a genius, but to be intellegent you need both formal and informal education, so genius are known for their change the world inventions, and out of the box thinking, so prof. Wole Soyinka is not a genius neither is prof. Osinbanjo

this is what we r saying but anything short of that is xtra ordinary.ur dad DOB 1960 prob went to pry sch @5 1965 +-6 yrs he was 10 yrs wen he started sec sch so if he spent 5 yrs in sec sch he wud be +-15 yrs old.so if he did 4 yrs at uni meaning Art course then he wud be 20-21 so U r rite but wen u say he finished Uni @ 17 then U need to xplain

My Dad wasn't an art student. after his secondary Schl exams in 1976, he went for his HSC(I think that's equivalent to Diploma now) for 2 years and gained admission straight into 200l in UI and he was a science student.
