The year 2014 will be remembered for several things to the Nigerian fans based on the joy and the pains the fans experience both in the domestic league and the national teams

1. Home based Super eagles’ incredible comeback from 3-0 to win 4-3 over Morocco in its first CHAN appearance. Win bronze in its first outing.

8. Super falcons win AWC

The Super Falcons of Nigeria beat Cameroon 2-0 on October 25th to win the 9th African Women Championship 2014 which took place in Namibia. Football stars Desire Oparanozie and Asisat Oshoala gave Nigeria the victory after scoring the two goals in the match. This will be the 7th time Nigeria has clinched the title. Super Falcons Asisat Oshoala was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player and Ngo Ndom from Cameroon won best goalkeeper award.
Nigeria will now proceed to the Canada 2015 World Cup as African champion.

10. MFM Ngeria wins inaugural world church championship
The official football team of the Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries, MFM Football club has won the inaugural Church World
Cup which ended in Goa, India on Sunday.
