I've posted this elsewhere (https://www.nairaland.com/2065391/thanksgiving-thread-2014#29286843) and the timing prolly sucks but it still belongs to my repertoire of mind droppings. Thankful for Twenty-14 I'm grateful to the forces that be... For making 2014 a blessing to me... I may not be where I wanna be yet... And the downsides are hard to forget... But I've come this far this year... So what the next brings, I won't fear... With LIfe on my side, exuding joy... In ravaging waters, a comforting buoy... This race has ended, another commencing... Honestly speaking... You don't mess with her She stings like a bee And leaves a bitter feel in her wake But you can't do without her If you must go far in your journey Despite her low sense of appeal The truth is, The truth. She's all you need in all her guises. For whatever pains she might bring you You're assured of a far-reaching reward You do all you can to have her lead the way..
