While Appreciating the Governor of Ekiti State over the recent
distribution of Yuletide materials such as rice, chickens and
clothes to the good people of Ekiti, i seize this opportunity to
condemn the act for it is not and will never be the best way
for the electorates to enjoy the dividends of democracy. The
stomach infrastructure program of Mr. Governor will
uncontrollably induce magnificent corruption in the state
because the people designated to oversee the program will
purchase 10 bags of rice and claim to have purchased 30. I
see a better way of reeling out the dividends of democracy to
the masses by the creation of skilled and unskilled jobs by the
government of Ekiti state. It is visible even to the blind that
Ekiti state has little or no IGR, the minute monthly federal
allocation to the state should not be squandered to feed the
microscopic few that is piloting the affairs of the states under
a strange program of stomach infrastructure! People are
eating rice without jobs.....when rice finishes what should
they feed on? Mr. Governor, you are feeding a youth who has
no job forgetting that an unemployed youth is a reserved
soldier for destruction. You are giving our people fish instead
of teaching them how to fish. You program is not ideal for the
state having the highest number of Professors in Nigeria. You
are the leader of Ekiti people, both at home and in the
diaspora....they want raw food provided the way you are
doing....they even pray you could come lay their
mattress.....but remember, an ideal leader takes his people
not to where they want to be but where they ought to
be....you need not try to please everybody. Please make
amendment before it is too late...,

I thought this was a joke. Food/rice distribution is an insult from the govt of Ekiti to the good, intelligent and hardworking people of Ekiti state that must be condemed by all.

You are the leader of Ekiti people, both at home and in the
diaspora....they want raw food provided the way you are
doing....they even pray you could come lay their
mattress.....but remember, an ideal leader takes his people
not to where they want to be but where they ought to
be....you need not try to please everybody. Please make

This is the crux of the matter.

Infact, if you ask people with poverty of mind, they might as well ask monetary allocations of states should be shared equally amongst every ekiti indigenes.
