I'm not surprised. I've been very impressed by him lately, especially his Nigeria-centric styling and sound. Very true to Nigeria, not importing foreign women and dressing Western all the time, like

There is no gainsaying the fact that the dude burns with skills! I'm yet to feel other songs on the album apart from Ojuelegba (my very favourite) and Bombay! Perhaps some of the heard ones (apart from the 2 mentioned) will grow on me with time or some unheard ones will turn out to blow my mind!

His inclusion in this list must be the biggest international breakthrough by a Nigeria - based artist since D'Banj's Oliver Twist.

Rolling Stones is one of the foremost music publication in the world - for them to rate his album so highly is impressive.

The boy is damn good. I have always said it. His repertoire of hit songs is the largest among all contemporary Naija musicians (including Tuface). Like R. Kelly, he can perform for hours and he wouldn't exhaust his 'known' hits. For a guy that has been around for only 4 years or so, he is clearly a phenomenon.
