"The worst civilian rule is better than the best military dictatorship." Those were the words of chief Obafemi Awolowo in 1983, the following morning after the military had ransacked his premesis at Apapa and asulted his personal staff and relatives. Well, the latest drama unfolding from Ali Modu Sheriffs vindication and exuneration from allegations of sponsoring Boko haram by his conspirators, has more to butress about this fact. Lets assume a power intoxicated dictator was on seat whilst those allegations emmanated from such a seeminly reliable sorce as it was. The probability is two to one odd that Ali Modu Sheriff, would have either been hanged or sentenced to life imprisonment today. But under thorough civlian blood administrative principles. Due process has ensured that the innocent is vindicated. My purpose for recollecting this fact is to redirect those who still seat back there to refer to Jonathan as clueless, daft and weak sorts of obsenities they care to unleash to our once and ever rational leader. That in true democratic principles, due process rather than power abuse, rules. And there is no better fairness to humanrights than this.

Years of military rule has damaged the psychie of many Nigerians. This damage is deeply rooted in their mentality to the point where to them, the major characteristic of a strong leader is the show of force. Nigerians have no idea what it means to govern through democractic norms and values. To them, Buhari and Obasanjo are strong leaders because they govern with brute force. Fortunately, brute force and one man rule does not exist within the confines of democracy.
Goodluck Jonathan is the best Leader in Nigeria's history to govern democratically, by STRICT observance of the CONSTITUTION and the RULE of LAW. It is because of these ideals and adherence to democratic principles that those (Mis inform individuals) grossly ignorant of Democractic governance tagged him (GEJ) weak.
Goodluck Jonathan is a true Nigerian democrat.

If ihejirika only alleged BH sponsorship was on d ground of diverting money meant for military equipment for personal use. 1, d money is shared amongst top security chiefs therefore, exposing ihejirika wld amount to exposing all others hence d need to create public discharge and acquitted of d alleged bt d ulterior motives or at best, d major target beneficiary Is image of d president (Jonathan) mainly for a soft landing ahead of nxt election.

There could have been no better explanation. Even when president Bush of the United states tried brutality and forceful administration. Eventhough his administration encompassed more of foreign than internal affairs. He was viciousely condemned by the American populace. Abraham Lincoln, regarded as one of the best presidents America has ever produced, was short dead by a disatisfied Booth. Who thought him weak by upholding principles that emancipated the blacks from racial segregation within the American citizenry. Most of those whites then, blighted by their miopic sights and mental slavery that their iron hand rulers in the past had compelled them, never knew that today, a black man in Barack Obama will not only have his right to vote, but to be voted for also. Lincoln was condemned by his fellow whites for his weakness then. But today, he is being recognized as one of the best leaders of all times. Lets embrace democracy in its totality and live by its principles. That is one sure way to imancipate our selves from the emotional cocoons our past military dictators had subjected us.

In as much as all scientific laws emmanate from hypothesis. I still want to advice that not all of them stand the test of time. Infact, most of the hypothesis ever drawn from scientific observations never scale through to their second experimental tests. My brother, one advice I would realy give, is for us to be braod minded. I mean open our hearts, to be able to see and believe realities rather than try confusing our poor minds with jargons and permutions from a selfish few who wants to wrestle power by all means, just for the sole purpose of satisfying their pesonal agrandisements. What you've just said is based on speculation and lacks requisite facts to pin point the reality in them. Do we continue deceiving ourselves with illusions from Abstract calculations when the bare truths are there for us to embrace?

Now tell me how and why he is still being regarded as weak? Could he even take such an action that we all have seen today, is in the best intrest of the nation? Admist, a fair hearing from all the stake holders and intrest groups was given and a compromise reached. Such wouldn't have happened in a case of a military blood in democratic disguise. Remember, there was a facet of thesame problem during Obasanjo's regime. When Adams Oshomole was chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congres. And what happened? I can remember him(Obasanjo) treatening to retrench them(Labour).

It's left for us to educate and mobilize our fellow youth and parents from our respective localities to vote their consciencies out. Lets not just sit back and watch these propagander, deceitful company, infiltrate our minds with their obnoxious poisons before we wake up to duty. Our destinies and future are in our hands. But if we remain so reluctant, when they are taken from us. It will be dificult to recover.
