I use a Benz C230 Kompressor 2004 model and it's been a beautiful experience.

Fuel Consumption is superb, it runs like a beast and maintenance is ok. What more can I say?

I heard d suspension of c230 kompressor is stiff, meaning d car rides rough on bumps n bad road. Some say d shock absorbers r not really absorbing any of d shocks when u enter pot hole. Is this true?

W203 doesn't have a stiff suspension. Only few sports model and it's not as stiff as other brands.

Sorry about d omission, it was actually a 2005 c230k, I thought dey only come in sport trim. Am really interested in dat model n year coz of d upgraded dash. But d stiffness gives me a shiver. Have 2014 accord sports, don't like d stiff suspension and large rims for anything...d ride is harsh, pls advice me. I want to buy a C-Class make I experience d myth...

My 2005 C230 Kompressor Sports model doesn't really absorb any shock when it enters pothole and I'm not happy about it.

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

You have 2 options.......buy the Camry above or change the shock and spring to supple ones.

My focus had a sport strut too. Then I went to scrap yard bought used one to replace the busrted one.

I got the very very comfort shocks in return.

Now It looks like all roads were repaired overnight.

but all depends on pocket. So many videos on utube to learn about shocks, types and how they work.

Study 1st and den hit the market. You will have to be particular about where and what model de part come from if buying used and it's condition.

Test the shock properly even when buying new. Could be from china

You see all this in the utube videos online

I have seen some like urs with air suspension. So VIN number would help to check.

yes matey seen one on wheelers dealer with air suspension which was later changed to normal strut due to cost.......

Sell your V6 and buy 4 cylinders. Don’t waste money changing engines with wrong specification

6k5 on fuel in a week is fair enough considering it’s a v6 engine. You didn’t tell us if you changed your normal driving pattern/distance for said week ie house to work and back or house to work, visit friends, stuck in traffic, went clubbing etc. that can also affect fuel consumption. I don’t advice you to change engine if nothing is wrong with this one but have the car properly scanned first to determine any faults

Nothing is wrong with the engine, the engine runs smoothly. The car is sweet to drive, I feel so comfortable in it.
Last time I was to fill in fuel, I bought an injector cleaner. That also help in reducing the consumption and I have observed some changes in terms of the consumption.
I have another question please. Do AC also help to increase fuel consumption?
