A singapore flight 8501 with about 155 passengers and 7 crews has been missing for 5 hours now.
The AirAsia flight had been due to arrive in Singapore at
08:30 (00:30GMT).
The missing jet had requested a "deviation" from the flight
path due to bad weather, the company said.

The air bus A320-200 was reported to have been earlier asked to change route for bad weather but its location has not been known as all effort to reach it has failed. Search and rescue operation has been on the way. It was on it way from Surabaya to Singapore.
