Good day men and ladies of great minds, I intend buying a Honda Accord (Baby boy) car. It has a V6 engine. I have heard different stories about the problems of this type of engine(s) from different cars. I now bring it to this house of great minds. Please what is your honest advise on maintaining a V6 engine. What are the advantages/disadvantages of using a V6 engine? Thank you for your anticipated, reasonable answers. |

Basically, Adv: More power & better acceleration. Disadv: More fuel consumption. |

V6 engine consumes more fuel, but are very fast reason having more plugs, but it could be problematic atimes especially during repairs. |

V6 is fun. V6 has lots of power. Who cares about fuel consumption? Modern V6 cars dont consume fuel as people think. Just dont remove your thermostat. and most of all, get an OBD II car scanner. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

@chiebube, thank you for your contribution. The thermostat thing is another thing. Almost all our "mechanics" or should i call them roadsides would advice you to remove thermostat even some remove it without your knowledge. God help us. |
