1. GEJ is not an Ijaw man, he is an Ogbia man, ask google for the difference,if you care.

2. If a Fulani was elected mayor of Enugu, the Igbo nation capital,Adaka boro an SUG president in an Igbo dominated UNN,Eyo ita the premier of the East, Obong of Calabar the leader of the Igbo dominated Eastern house of Chiefs, then it's obvious that any Eastern minority would have emerged the president of Biafra if she survived the whims of the British.

3. Gowon the front man of the Arewa-Odua gang up 1.0 gave away Bakassi, because neither the Bakassi people nor their lands mean anything to him as they were not Yorubas or Arewa,as far as Gowon was concerned, Bakassi and her people were but pawns in his chessboard, he simply sacrificed a cow tail( Bakassi land and her resources) to have the cow( Niger delta and her huge crude oil and gas), the war was all about economics to him and not nationalism, and on that term, his action was a prudent one.

4. No serious nation gives away any part of it's land and abandones her people to the whims and caprice of another nation without puting up a fight, Even India and Pakistan are yet to give up Kashmir. Even Biafra a true nation,as young as she was, put up a 3year war to defend her people and lands from Nigerian Invaders.

In Bakassi, Nigeria is revealed as a fraud it is, a mere geographical expression, incapable of protecting her territories and people from invaders, without external help from colonial powers.

5. Nigerian-Biafran war was not about any foreign power trying to divide Nigeria, it was about the World power Britain, using the Arewa-Odua gang up 1.0 as foot soldiers and the Arab airforce to invade and deny the people of Biafra their right to self determination, with the Arewa-Odua gang up given the right by the British, to use any means possible, including giving away Bakassi to ensure that their colonial business investment known as Nigeria remained intact for continual exploitation.

6. The greatness of a NATION( i didn't say a country), is not mainly determined by her population, but by the all round development of her people, and their elevated living standards, usually driven by carefully laid down Homogenous political and economic ideology, a trait the Nigerian country lacks and would never have.

But look pdp was started by serious minded nigerians that struggled against military dictator and asked for democracy. But the party was hijacked and derailed by obj.

Hope that would not happen to apc, because their candidate who is also a military general might try to hijack the party and fuu.ck up everything like obj.

They have no case because there is no evidence in this report that their right is being trampled. Cameroon gave them option of becoming citizens or residents, some chose citizenship, others chose residency. Irrespective of what they choose, they are subject to cameroonian laws which include payment of statutory tax.
It's their own land. The Cameroonian have no right to kick them out.

No one is denying them the right to live, not the Cameroonians. If you must live, you will decide whether to be citizen or resident. Whatever the case, you are liable to their laws and pay taxes. If you won't keep up, you relocate to your country. The sad part is that the land by ICJ's pronouncement belongs to Cameroon, they only enjoy indigenship privilege by accepting to be Cameroonians and by abidng to the laws of Cameroon.

They hated and demonised Abatcha. When he died they celebrated because they taught that Nigeria will be turned to America but, alas! Nigeria has now turned to the former USSR being balkanised only this one is not only confined to territorial lost but also lost of nationalism to ethnic and religious sentiments on one hand and Afghanistan on the other hand.

Abacha would rather wage a one hundred years war than secede Bakassi to cameroon and would have crushed each and every member of Boko haram until they beg for forgiveness or ran to exile.

No one said the ONLY REASON some foreign powers got involved in the war, was to "divide Nigeria"! There is a whole world of difference between "the only reason"..... and "one of the reasons"! English is not that difficult naah?

All of a sudden, Jonathan who represents South-South.... is being distinguished to a "macro-level"? shocked shocked Maybe we should simply name his Mother's clan and say that is the "only place" he is from! grin
Ofcourse, when it is convinient, Jonathan is an "Igbo man"... and when it is not, he is an Ogbia man! grin grin

I know in Nigeria, what we have are Councillors, LGA Chairpersons and Governors! How one Fulani man became elected as "MAYOR of Enugu" must be news to "local people" like us and the Nigerian constitution! INEC, see what you caused now?

The Biafran war was an Igbo project. Odumegwu Ojukwu was the spearhead.
That he invaded other tribes like the Benins, the Ibibios, Calabaris, the Itshekiris, the whole of Niger Delta area (South-South, just to fleece them of their crude oil), ....and went as far as Oore in Ondo state, does not mean all those Nationalities were part of the project.
They were just "conquered nations", subdued but still unwilling and therefore cannot be "partners" as is being asserted.

How "Biafra" suddenly became "Niger-Delta", is a leap of faith! (I checked the map and did not see Awka, Enugu, Abakaliki, e.t.c in the South-South, they are on the East of the Niger or what we call "Eastern Nigeria". ....Just like we have Northern and Western Nigeria!).
Like l said, when it is convenient, the "South-South" can be coerced and cajoled into thinking they are truly part of Biafra but anyone grown-up enough to know how and what transpired during that Civil war, knows the difference between a brutally and mercilessly conquered nation ....and the new-found "ally" narrative we hear now.
Strip the "South-South Niger Delta nations" of their crude oil and they would really know where they stand with the East! grin
Ofcourse, an "alliance' would not be a bad idea as long as the South-South is ready to play second fiddle to the Ibos. wink

No one said the "greatness of a nation is MAINLY DETERMINED by her population alone!
I repeat: It is "a factor", just like a "large and arable landmass"! ......and cited the examples of China and India and Brazil.
Comprehension can be this difficult now?

And by the way, I still repeat that No Region in Nigeria has ever produced a President in Nigeria ....except with the backing of ANOTHER ONE of the Major regions.
Check:
*Shagari (North and East; ...the same East that is being accused of ganging-up with! grin )
Obasanjo (1st term; North and East)
Obasanjo (2nd term; West and North)
Yar Ardua (North and East)
Jonathan (remainder of Yar Ardua's term; mostly West by way of political agitation for the respect of the wordings of the constitution ..and East)
Jonathan (1st term; West and East)
Jonathan (2nd term; East and )

We all know he wont get the NORTH...that is foreclosed!
whether he would get the WEST, is debatable and anyone's guess.

If he gets neither the WEST nor the NORTH, he is a gonner in 2015.

Any smart person should have seen that "short of RIGGING", toying with the WEST is like digging his own grave, metaphorically and politically speaking.

Finally, once a supposedly intelligent discuss is being taken into the realm of "baseless conspiracy theory", the "We Vs. Them" or they "ganged-Up against us", then l must say it is becoming sentiments!
This "Victim mentality" has never helped anyone as far as l can remember.
In Politics, "Alliances" are the order of the day
and no one is precluded from forming one, it is a matter of WHAT DO YOU or CAN YOU BRING TO THE TABLE"!
No one forms alliance with anyone if the other party has nothing to offer.
Too bad if you have nothing to present yet complain that others are forming alliances! grin
Get over it and bring something to the table and see if you wont be the "new bride" that everyone wants to court! wink wink

Before I start, I would like to correct my use of "Niger delta" in my previous post, as the use of that ambiguous term compounded things by bringing non Eastern groups like the Urhobos,Isoko,Itsekiri, etc into the picture, when what I actually had in mind was Eastern minority groups like Andoni, Ijaws( the Eastern Ijaws) and Ijoids (kalabari, Okirika),Ogoni and Eleme, Degema, the Igboids, Opobo,Annang,Efik,Ibibio,Ekoi Ogoja, and the numerous ethnic groups in the northern part of Modern Cross river state.

Now that "we" have established this baseline, "we" can now go back to the main issue at hand.

obj was too busy fighting Niger delta militants (or should I say killing off their villages) whose actions lead to a global increase in crude oil price.I think it was under him that book harams leader was killed by policemen while in jail.
I don't really think gej should be blamed for book haram.I remember reports that many northern communities supported them and even hide them from the military when book haram seemed to attack only churches and areas with southern populations in fact ,buhari accused gej of killing of his people under the guise of fighting terrorism. Am not surprised that since the northern elders and many northern NGO call to remove ihejiraka was heeded, boko haram is now virtually a state
