Please don't mislead him.
*102# is different from 120 to 131. Both are night plans and will give you 4.5 gig (3gig basic data cap, 1.5gig bonus which works only 6am to 9pm)

If you use *102#, your 1.5gig day will first get exhausted before you can use the 3gig night plan.

If you used 120 to 131, the 1.5gig will be used during the day, at night from 9pm to 6am, it will switch over to the 3gig.

Summary: 120 to 131 is better than *102#.
