Career-Minded Women Turn to Male Escorts For No-Strings Fun and (Maybe) Sex

Yes, hiring an “escort” is no longer just a man’s game. These days, plenty of women are turning to online sites for no-frills male companionship.
It’s not just for men anymore. Women want a hot, young thing to parade around on their arm, too.
Sure, career-oriented women have less time for romance, but that doesn’t stop their desire for sex. And in an environment where time is money, hooking up with an escort just might be the sensible thing to do. I mean, who really has time to hang out in a bar sipping cosmos watching the hours tick by in the hopes of a decent one-night stand? Not most. Thanks to a service aimed specifically at women, there’s no need to buy overpriced drinks in the hopes of landing some male companionship. Just rent a stud instead.

The escort site Cowboys4Angels peddles chiseled, hot-bodied men and their smoldering model looks to women willing to pay. According to the site, “My Cowboys are attentive, respectful and protective. They pay special attention to the client as if she is the only one that matters to him in the world, building a genuine rapport.”
Seriously, don’t roll your eyes. This is not a secretly gay escort site, according to owner and founder Garren James, who says he’s constantly turning down male clients. “You can Google gay male escort and you’ll find hundreds,” says James. “I figured a woman would not want to hire a man that she thought was just with a man the night before, so I decided to make it exclusively for women.”

“I think it’s chauvinistic to say women aren’t able to, or can’t afford to, or as some would say, women don’t have the balls to do it.”
It wasn’t always easy, either. People had to adjust to the idea of women hiring men. It shouldn’t be a crazy concept, but it is. “I think it’s chauvinistic to say women aren’t able to, or can’t afford to, or as some would say, women don’t have the balls to do it,” says James. “It’s weird how it’s okay for a gay man to hire a gay guy, or for a man to hire a woman, but for a woman to hire a man, oh that’s gotta be fake, because they don’t want to accept it.”

According to James, by 2014 his business did close to $2 million in overall sales. But it wasn’t always so. “Our first few months we had maybe one client and then we went on The Tyra Banks Show,” says James. “It wasn’t like we were an instant success, but we were the number one Google-searched site in the nation the day the show aired. It spread like wildfire from there.

Even before Showtime debuted Gigolos, the reality show featuring several men from Cowboys4Angels, there was HBO’s Hung. The critically acclaimed series, which debuted back in 2009, was groundbreaking—bringing male escorting from dark corners of the Internet to the mainstream. Gigolos later capitalized on the newfound public interest, and together these shows have moved the conversation from bachelorette parties to the dinner table. Paying for sex is, of course, one of the world’s oldest professions, and up until now it’s been a male-dominated tradition. In the 21st century women are earning their equality every step of the way… including the bedroom.

Top 6 reasons women might prefer a male escort:

- Satisfaction guaranteed – some hot dates can be incredibly selfish lovers but rest assured with an escort their job is to please (within reason, of course).
- No need to fake it - SHHH… sometimes when it’s boring, faking it means it’ll be over sooner. (It’s our dirty little secret)
- Because dating can be exhausting – establishing a new relationship can be time consuming and mentally taxing, so if you’d rather pay more attention to your blossoming career than a man, an escort might be the way to go.
- One-night stands aren’t always as fun as they should be
- Because sometimes a woman just wants to have sex, no strings attached – men can be just as clingy as women, wanting to follow up the sexy encounter with cuddles, kisses, and promises of dates you don’t want.
- Safer than hooking up with a stranger – this guy has been pre-screened. Yay! Breathe a sigh of relief. You won’t have to worry about whether or not he has a violent past. Escorts at the agency must pass a background check.

An escort who goes by the name of “Tommy” has experienced a wide variety of female clients. He finds they come to him with assorted needs. One woman wanted to make her boyfriend jealous, and another was a burn victim with a body covered in scars that just wanted to feel beautiful. “I feel like I’m helping women out. Sometimes I feel more like a therapist than the stereotype of a male escort,” says Tommy.

Tommy describes himself as more of the “boyfriend experience.” And with regular clients that see him at least twice a month, relationships inevitably form. But while it feels personable, it is always professional. “A lot of people don’t understand why women would pay money for it,” says Tommy. “At the end of the day, just like men, they want to be seen with someone attractive to validate them, make them feel better about themselves.”

Of course with this service, women aren’t paying for sex. That would be illegal. Women are paying for male companionship and whatever happens between two consenting adults on a paid date, well, that’s up to them. Owner Garren James elucidates. “When a client calls the agency, if they are requesting some sort of sexual service then, unfortunately, I cannot book that appointment. We’re selling the men’s companionship,” says James. “Now if there is some sort of spark on that date then they’re not necessarily breaking any law. For example, if you hired a guy to clean your pool and while he was cleaning your pool you walked outside and thought he was hot and he liked you back. If you guys started kissing or something romantic happened, well, that’s not breaking the law, you contracted that guy to clean your pool. It’s not like you offered him money to have sex. Now that would be breaking the law.”

In the end, men and women aren’t that different. Sex is not a craving; it’s a biological need. And in today’s world, women aren’t too shy to make the first move, and want to be pleasured just as much as men do. And now they can be.

I recommend this service for all feminists and pseudo-feminists alike, as well as the married women who don't feel beautiful and attractive anymore due to the biological effects of childbirth.

It's such a good development, for I believe it will reduce the number of aggressive and patriarchy-hating women by providing them with regular quality sex, enough to quell any and all dissatisfaction with the male gender... gringrin

I totally endorse this wholeheartedly! cool

Good development, although gigolos have existed for ages.
Should help some of the fake feminists to feel equal to men, after all if a man can hire a hooker,a woman can hire a gigolo.

The problem with lots of these fake feminists is that they are so driven by their careers that they have no time to date, hence the frustration and anger issues.
At least now some one has provided a service where they can rent-a-dick for a couple of hours. Should help a few of them get over their inadequacies and self esteem issues.

you are not alone, bro....

i am starting to enjoy the freedom feminism is giving to the 21st century women. you switch to sports channel every time & all you see is testosterone everywhere - we need a break & some excitement abeg.

i cant even remember the last time i saw a football game that excited me ever since i discovered the lingerie football league grin it's the most exciting sporting event on TV these days. i don't even care about understanding the rules - i just love the sight of these women in their undies shaking their bum when they score.

@coogar,
Wtf? I have never in my life heard of the lingerie football league,(being a neanderthal) so I go to YouTube and what do I see?
Women dolling themselves up,and dressing down in bra's and bum shorts and pretending to play American football while managing to shake what their mama gave them.
Is this equality?
More like women making an exhibition of themselves like all these girls twerking in musical video's. And you expect men to respect you.
The mind boogles.

So many insights and pointers as to why "sexual equality" will be disastrous for women.

Historically, men have placed a high value on intimacy with women and even gone to war over it. Now women are paying men? Laughable, but quite tragic. A singular lesson in how to take something of great worth and render it all but valueless.

I see lots of women thinking that financial independance somehow levels the playing field. Nope, because men do not typically seek out women for financial reasons. And the money they acquire does not necessarily secure them the men they desire or the happiness they want.

I maintain, that when women fully realise how feminism compromises the feminine imperative, they will of themselves war against it. Sharp and high status men will continue to enjoy the ride - and pick of the best quality women.

An unfolding story, but some of us can prety much forsee the end.

It is the norm (as in norm) as much as female prostitution in many nigerian cities.

Although it is rare to see them standing by the roadside like some of their female counterparts, but there are clubs established specifically for that business and their clients even include married women.

Accepted and mainstream in our culture or abroad?

There is nothing new here; sugar mummyism or young boys sleeping with married men did not start today undecided

I don't make the news, just comment on it.
Feminism demands that different things - males and female - be treated exactly the same way, hence women adopting male behavour - whilst regrettably losing female virtue. Part of the liberal ideology that pervades culture and most thinking in the west these days.

cococandy:

Even before my mother was born it has been in existence. Kini big deal?
Perhaps, but was it mainstreamed, normalised, seen as a good thing? What is driving this form of that particular habit ?What kind of woman do you see as needing to pay for sex? "Kini big deal" is a rather simplistic response

cococandy:

Just like there are women who don't wanna do real work to make money, there are also men who don't want to do that either.
Totally inverted thinking here - is this driven by men wanting to be prostitutes or women behaving like men?

The point is what is driving this phenomena, or this strain of it? We know it's extant, but in a different form and with a different dynamic. It's not sugary or cougarism as described. Merely saying it's the equivalent of men paying sex for women, or worse reading it as men selling themselves sexually totally misses the point.

possibly. Or maybe not. But my point is that it is not new. And has absolutely nothing to do with feminism.
In the very old Igbo tradition,we had a system called iko nwoke(male young lover) their job was to patronize older widowed ladies who understandably needed some 'loving' as their hudbands were no more and they did this for favors from the ladies (same thing as payment)
It was perfectly legal and even encouraged somewhat as they saw in the system a possible solution for preserving the unmarried girls' virginity.

what's the difference?
Just a more efficient way of getting a one night stand without the time wasting or possibly complications.
As someone said is it mere re-packaging.
