What Happened To The Popular Slogan 'fresh Air' (opinion) by veraponpo(m): 7:12pm On Jan 05, 2015
In 2010, when the general election was on the way, some individuals came up with a very beautiful slogan-FRESH AIR. With pomp and peagentry, all Dr Jonathan's fans were shouting and chorusing it. Obviously with just one intention, to tell the populace that a new era has come.

Five years after, another general election is around the conner but same Jonathan has not gathered enough momentum to even start his campaign . By this time in 2010, he had toured some states and some he went twice making promises of giving us 20,000 megawatts, giving all the states airports, etc. As it is now, we don't know when he will start his campaign as he has changed from 2 legged father Obj who campaigned for him in most of the states of the federation to one legged man IBB who he just adopted when the coast is nore clear to him. He has been disowned by the Yorubas that gave him 5 of the 6 states, doubtful in the East as Ohaneze could not reach consensus on him, rejected in the North and unwelcome even in the South South because Buhari will be in Aka Ibom tomorrow to be welcomed by Jonathan's kinsmen. Rivers and Edo are already under the grip of APC.

He played the politics of religion and as a result he has lost the cult-followership of the Muslims, unfortunately The Christians populace have seen his insincerity and they have rejected him from the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, to the revelation of father Mbaka ,a Chatolic father on December 31, 2014 to Kumuyi's insistence that Deeper life members should get their voters card, to Tunde Bakare's opinion that Jonathan 's destiny is to make Nigeria bankrupt, to Chris Okotie's view that Jonathan chose 11/11/2014 because of his evil intention-spiritual interpretation. Things seem not working for Mr President. Please where is the fresh air now or is it hot air or cold air, etc

Where is the fresh air both as a slogan and as a concept?

Maybe the "political climate change" has released dangerous gasses as a result of "national warming" and heating of the polity.

Now, the purported fresh air has been taken over by political heat.

Right?

Because there was no fresh air in the first place. Instead, we have lost over 20,000 souls to boko haram alone. I will not even talk about the corruption and propagandous achievement under his watch. He represent bitter pill

@Barcanista, we have lost a lot.

There seems to be no hope for the common man.

$20b can build 4 to 5 refineries, instead of him to look for the money, sack the perpetrator of the evil, provided he was not the one that stole it, he was targeting the messenger , Mr Lamido Sanusi.

Today, the story has changed. Bushmeat is hunting the hunter through the instrumentality of the citizenry that want a change.

He had lots of goodwill but he squandered it. Now he is out of good luck but bad luck. I can't wait to vote against him

Easterners are wise. The Igbo nation understand the implication of staying with a sinking ship. I was surprised that Mr Mbaka that calls himself a priest could speak against Jonathan after his disgraceful speech in November. It is a testament that God is working in mysterious ways

Nigerians have realised that they have been deceived.
They now see that what Jonathan really meant was Fresh Fart.
Now is the time to vote out the fool.
