Hello N'landers, I am a graduate and an IT Support Specialist and had been looking for job for some years now, I'm an entrepreneur(Repair, Network, troubleshoot and install computer Systems). I am not getting any younger (early 30) and had resolve within me that I must marry and settle down this year. I had come across some good ladies but had been afraid to propose or have any serious relationship as I will like to provide for the needs of my woman and take good care of my family. I'm a good-looking, tall young man with good heart.

Young man, be focus and get one first then the other follows, either of the two one can come first but not search for the two at the same time. Be careful for you not to be too selective in your choice of wife otherwise you will select and select and at the end of the day nothing to select again so be very careful with your selection....

If you want to marry d classy type, den remain focus till u get rich enough 2 takia of her.

Bro answer these questions within yourself...
* Am I living comfortably myself?
* Can I feed extra mouths with my present income? (wife & kid(s))
* Are there people that look up to you(dependent on you)?
These are few things that if not sorted out properly can ruin your marriage really fast.
As you may already know getting a lady in Nigeria, dat is ready to go through d rough&tough with U ain't no easy task, almost every lady want a made man, even the self-sufficient ones. Well, if luck played out well 4 you, U might find one dat'll love you for who you are.

I understand that you feel you're nt getting younger, but marriage Dese days is nt something you rush into, U've got to really prepare for it(in every aspect), rate @ which people file for divorce lately is alarming. Get yourself sorted out first, get a decent job or take this present one to a new level, then you can settle for marriage.

Live one step @ a time bro, there's no point rushing

You want to marry while you are still jobless? Bro that is a very bad proposition. Every woman wants to drop her 'iyawo' name for 'mummy somebody'. in other words every woman wants to be called by the name of her child not long after marriage. If your wife gets pregnant in the first year of marriage and you are still jobless, how do you intend to take care of her and the baby. That means your wife would probably be the bread winner of the family and that is a something I wouldnt wish or pray for you.

Best advice, concentrate on getting a job. If you put all your efforts into getting a good job, you might be surprised that you might meet your future wife along the way.

@all, Thanks for advice and reply, however, I do not mean that I'm jobless, As I stated in my 1st post, I am an IT / Computer Support Specialist (self employed). I earn some money which ordinarily will be able to carry me and my wife but I have a lot of responsibilities as my dad is no more. I have 2 younger ones in University before the demise of my dad and I would not want them to drop out as they are doing extremely well (both with CGPA of above 4.0). so I took up the responsibility and that had weighed me down financially. I planned that I will marry at most at the age of 30 but that did not happen. I'm seeking to find a more decent job that will pay me more as I do not have the capital to expand my business.

You have some years of experience, so keep abreast of job openings and tender your applications the best way you can. ...Elaborate your skills and experiences on your CV...

When are your siblings graduating from Uni? you can leave getting a wife till they graduate or you get something better. .. Won't advise you marry a wife now when you can't shoulder the responsibilities. .Forget about your age, readiness is paramount. ..All the best as I pray you get help. ..
