First thing you should have done is to contact GoDaddy support.

This is what might have happened .....hacked or not:


Something is generating files in your disk space sometimes it might even be from error log....imagine an error being generated every seconds ....now look at what the size will be after maybe 24hrs.

Just check what is making your files increase in size....check all folders for suspicious files.

^^^^Exactly what I was thinking, I have seen this pattern of hacking before (happened to a friend who did not secure his photo upload script) - they use a file to fill your webspace with jargons. If your website is not uploading mass data from time to time, you should not get such a warning.

@op, check your server logs it should guide you to where the stuffs are coming from.

This may have nothing to do with your site if you are on a shared hosting plan as there will be a lot of other sites on the server. The server has run out of diskspace (its not a case of your site running over quota) and only a server admin can fix this so contact your host.

Right from the first day i started having problem with most of theirt service, i have tried as much to get intouch with them, but sending them a mail is as if you are sending it to mark zuckerberg of facebook.

In terms of good customer service, Godaddy #SUCKS.
