Hi Everyone! I've tried all I could to turn on my Dell N5040 but it yielded no result. I even removed the battery and plugged the charger it was still same old story. I'm seriously gutted! Advice me please..... Thanks |

Gbengard:pele. I know the feeling. Your system won't power on or screen wont come up?! How long do you use your PC? And what kinda apps are ran most times by you? Fav apps i mean sniff hard on it to check if its not burnt. Did your PC fall off from height? Somethingis def wrong with your hardware: motherboard or c.p.u! I only have little knowledge with computers thou, but if d motherhood is nt bad mayb d power button is or liquid might have poured on it, and I rule out it been a software problem |

paranorman: Is 18-month-old. My laptop is not laden with applications, I only work with notepad, ampps, joomla for my web design programme. and I have nornal applications like Microsoft office installed. It didn't burn and it never fell off. I used it to type my presentation in school before I turned it off and since then is like I'm daydreaming. when I plugged the charger the battery came on. I've tried all tricks posted online is still same. |

Gbengard:is it still covered(warranty)? If not, take it to a TRUSTED technician. I know how it feels bro. Are you running on Intel or AMD? |

@paranorman, my Dell laptop had the same problem sometime ago. Take it to a trusted technician who will open and clean it. That should help. |

My system is now working fine. The technician said I overcharged it, don't know how true is that...... Paid him 500 naira tho. Thanks all |
